The Colombian singer Maluma melted social media when he announced the birth of his second child, Orión Londoño Gómez, who was born on Monday, September 14, 2026.
The artist shared the news through a post on his Instagram account with a caption written in cursive: "Orión Londoño Gómez. 14/09/26." Simple, emotional, and straight to the heart.
Alongside the text, Maluma posted a black and white photograph taken in the hospital room: his partner, Susana Gómez, lying in bed with an intravenous line in her arm, and him standing by her side, wearing a medical gown and surgical cap, holding the newborn. Both with their foreheads together and smiles that say it all.
Soon after, a second image appeared, equally tender: the singer, shirtless and with his tattoos on display, cradling little Orion against his chest in front of a window with greenery in the background.
The chosen name is not a coincidence. Orion comes from Greek mythology, where he is the great hunter, and it names one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky. A name with history, character, and a lot of personality.
Orión is the second child of Maluma and Susana Gómez. Their firstborn, Paris Londoño Gómez, was born in March 2024 in Medellín, Colombia, and with the arrival of her little brother, she becomes the older sister in the family.
