The family of the Cuban influencer La Cintumbare requested help this Sunday to locate her after two days without news, as her sister Maura publicly denounced in a message shared on Instagram.
«We have been searching for her for two days and we don’t know where she is. We don’t know where she is and we are afraid that something may have happened to her,» Maura expressed in a video posted on that social network.
The young woman explained that both she and her father, as well as Cinthya Medrano García's mother, the real name of La Cintumbare, have tried to locate her without success.
According to her account, the influencer's phone still appears to be active, and the messages sent are marked as delivered, but they have not received any response.
"His phone shows as active, it indicates that things have been delivered, but he doesn't answer, he doesn't say anything," he explained.
The sister also confirmed that when she tried to check her social media, she found that La Cintumbare's Instagram account was no longer available.
"I just saw that your Instagram doesn’t exist," he pointed out.
Maura urged anyone who knows the whereabouts of her sister or has any information that could help locate her to contact the family. In the video, she also provided a phone number for receiving information.
"Anyone who knows where she might be, please tell me personally, so I can get her out of there," he expressed.
Until the moment of the family call, there had been no public information about what happened to La Cintumbare or where it might be located. There is also no information available to ascertain the reasons for the cessation of communication with her family.
The concern arose after several weeks in which fans and people close to the influencer had expressed unease about some of her videos.
On September 14th, Cuban reggaeton artist Ja Rulay publicly requested that they seek help after La Cintumbare posted content in which they openly discussed drug use.
"You should seek help because little by little it will destroy you, and many people want to see that in you," the artist warned him, also asking him to think about his family and his son.
La Cintumbare also addressed comments regarding her remarkable weight loss and assured that it was due to her decision to get in shape.
Medrano García returned to Cuba in February 2025 after being deported from the United States, and since then has maintained a significant presence on social media.
"I, my dad, and her mom are desperately looking for her because honestly, we need to know where she is," Maura concluded.
