Seidy La Niña surprised her followers this week with a reel posted on her Instagram account in which she showcases her physical transformation after losing 17 pounds with the help of a wellness center in Miami.
In the video, the Cuban singer reveals that she once weighed 174 pounds and currently registers 157 on the scale. With her characteristic sense of humor, she described herself in her previous stage as "a sugar mama" and "the meat truck," only to exclaim with enthusiasm: "Oh my God! I'm a model!"
The artist attributes her transformation to a center that offers services such as infusions for weight loss, intravenous hydration, vitamin injections, sauna, and cold water baths.
"I am very happy with my changes, thanks to The Ice Room for helping me lose weight and understand that it's not a diet, but rather a lifestyle," the artist expressed in the reel.
In the post description, Seidy went beyond thanking the center and reflected on the process: "It's not just a diet or an injection; it's learning to eat in a balanced way. The discipline of making a commitment not only to your body but, even more importantly, to your mind."
The reel represents a remarkable shift in the body narrative that the artist has built over the years on social media. Since 2023, Seidy has adopted a public stance of acceptance and body pride, making her a role model for many Cuban followers. That year, she responded to a follower who criticized her for her weight with the phrase, "The fat girl is thriving, mommy."
In September 2024, she appeared without filters to her followers, declaring that she presents herself “with stretch marks, with cellulite, always real, always me.” Months later, she confessed the emotional impact of the criticism, admitting to feeling “bad and guilty” due to the constant negative comments about her body. Now, she actively celebrates having transformed it through discipline and lifestyle changes.
The moment comes just days after another media episode: the publication of unshaven images that sparked significant controversy on social media; even the artist herself admitted that "she was about to delete the photo."
