The Cuban boxer Yordenis Ugás once again showed his humility by sharing a video on Instagram of the moment he allowed a young fan to pose next to his luxurious black Rolls-Royce and sit inside it, a gesture that quickly caught the attention of his followers.
Ugás himself posted the moment on his Instagram account with the text: "He liked my car. I told him to enjoy it." The images show the young man posing in front of the car while a woman takes photos of him, and later, inside the vehicle. The boxer shared the scene with his followers.
In February 2024, he had already showcased that same black Rolls-Royce on Instagram, getting into the car and driving it in front of his followers.
Ugás, born on July 14, 1986, in Los Hoyos, Santiago de Cuba, emigrated to the United States in March 2010 to begin his professional career. His journey includes an Olympic bronze medal at the Beijing 2008, the amateur world title in 2005, and, most notably, his victory over Manny Pacquiao on August 21, 2021, in Las Vegas, with which he retained the WBA welterweight world championship. His professional record includes 28 wins, six losses, and 12 knockouts.
After nearly three years of inactivity, the boxer returned to the ring in June 2026 with a split decision victory over the Mexican Jesús "Bala" López at the Arena Sonora in Hermosillo, marking his return to professional boxing after almost three years off.
Beyond sports, Ugás is known for his commitment to the Cuban cause. In August of this year, he publicly defended anonymous political prisoners in Cuba, reaffirming a stance that has given him public visibility beyond the boxing ring.
The video of the Rolls-Royce and the young man once again showcases a more approachable side of Ugás, who shared the gesture towards a fan who was impressed by his car with his followers.
