Registration to receive food in Overtown
Health in the Hood offers a registration link to receive food. For its part, Lotus House explains that they also carry out in-person registrations at their community distributions. Registration to receive products is separate from the volunteer call.
Lotus House indicates that its community distributions are free of charge and that deliveries will continue as long as products are available. The organization recommends arriving early and bringing water and sunscreen, as the line forms outdoors. The event page does not specify what documents may be requested nor guarantees that all individuals will receive products.
The Health in the Hood calendar shows a general schedule from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., but the announced time to start the distribution is at 11:30 a.m. Before heading out, it is advisable to check the official notice in case of changes or cancellations, especially due to weather conditions.
