The Cuban influencer Claudia Artiles spoke out to deny that her relationship with Ultrack is in crisis, after a video of an apparent argument during a live TikTok broadcast went viral, sparking a flood of speculation about their relationship.
Claudia was direct in her response, shared by various profiles on social media: "For me, ending it with Ultrack, ending my relationship, is not an option. We want to start a family, and if God wills it, we will be together for many years."
The clarification came after the argument between the couple during the live stream spread across TikTok and Instagram: Ultrack complained to Claudia that the eggs with avocado she had prepared were under-seasoned, she replied that he could add salt himself, the argument escalated, and ended with Claudia throwing the plate at his face while shouting "Stay alone!".
According to Claudia, however, nothing was spontaneous: “That was something that came up live and direct. Ultra thought of creating that content during my live stream, and it happened because a gossip page at that moment came in and asked us for a viral clip, and we created it right then.”
The influencer detailed the mechanics of the episode: she was preparing breakfast with Ultrack when a gossip account joined the live stream— which at that moment had between 4,000 and 5,000 viewers— and asked Ultrack if he wasn't going to create some viral content. He agreed and arranged with Claudia to fake a fight, during which she threw the plate at him as part of the act.
"It was arranged for him to get upset with me, to demand something from me, and for me to throw the plate at him; everything was arranged, everything was live," he confirmed.
The performance did not convince everyone. In the comments on the reel, several users pointed out that Claudia herself couldn't hide her laughter during the incident and that Ultrack's expression "also gave it away." One of the most shared comments summarized the general skepticism: "But anyone who didn't realize it was staged was blind, because Claudia was laughing, she couldn't conceal it, and Ultrack's face also gave it away. They were pretending."
Others defended the couple and urged that no one should comment without having watched the entire live broadcast.
Regardless of whether the fight was real or staged, numerous internet users criticized the couple for resorting to this type of content to generate views. "Square or not, it's rubbish content," commented one user, while another remarked, "Content that adds nothing. This is just like the other couples with toxic content." The criticism also targeted the example they set on social media: "What a terrible example for your children," "They don't know what else to invent to get attention," and "It turned out really ugly. I'm sorry, that's how I see it. I prefer them with different types of content," were some of the reactions.
However, several users questioned Claudia's account that it had all been an act and suggested that her explanation was a way to justify what had happened. "I don't believe a word of it," wrote one user, while another sarcastically remarked, "Not even the Kardashians have staged it this much. That scene deserves an Emmy." There were also those who questioned the need for so many clarifications: "Why so many explanations and why hasn't Ultrack come out to say anything?" asked one user. Another was more blunt: "Yeah, save that story for someone else. You have a toxic relationship, but hey, it’s your life."
Claudia also took the opportunity to complain about the differential treatment that, in her opinion, they receive compared to other couples that produce similar content: "There are many couples who create content fighting on social media, and nothing happens. But me and Ultrack get criticized."
"We remain together as a family, as a relationship, and we are happy," Claudia concluded in her message. "Never let yourselves be misled by a clip posted by a gossip page, because this is what happens."
This is not the first time that a live stream of the couple has raised alarm. On one occasion, neighbors called 911 believing that there was a real domestic altercation, and at least four patrol cars responded to the scene without any legal consequences.
