Rachel Arderi set social media ablaze this Wednesday with a carousel of five photographs on Instagram, showcasing a stunning look worthy of a goddess, along with a message that her followers quickly interpreted as a hint: “I… know exactly who I am”.
The images show Arderi dressed in a stunning bright orange gown made of flowing, satin fabric, featuring bold cuts that reveal much of her figure. A cape that unfurls like wings, a long train, and striking golden jewelry completed a cinematic display set against a desert backdrop.
Sensuality, elegance, and a queen-like attitude were the key ingredients of a photo shoot that left her followers in admiration. The post garnered over 30,000 likes and 572 comments within a few hours, featuring compliments, comparisons, and the occasional criticism.
"Each photo surpasses the last, goddess," "There are levels to this," "A divine woman," and "You're over the line," were some of the reactions that flooded the post.
There were also those who took the opportunity to highlight the usual comparisons with La Dura, another Cuban influencer who often draws attention with her photographic productions: “I don’t see why there’s a need to compare Rachel with La Dura. Each one is doing their work incredibly well, and both are beautiful women,” defended a follower. Another was even more emphatic: “For me, this girl is doing the best work. But for the Cuban community, it’s easier to criticize than to applaud.”
Among the comments, there was one person who claimed that the photographs were a "copy and paste from La Dura," while another user criticized the outfit with a blunt, "That rag looks cheap."
However, most reactions were of admiration. "She doesn't need any touch-ups. I saw her in person and she's absolutely gorgeous with a fantastic figure," one user stated, while another highlighted: "Rachel keeps surpassing herself. She's a girl focused on her work and you can tell all the effort she puts in. She looks spectacular."
And although Rachel did not clarify if her statement had a specific target, that "I... know very well what I am" sounded like a strong declaration of personal confidence amidst praise and criticism. Because if there is one thing she made clear with these photographs, it is that, while some compare her and others question her, she continues to focus on increasingly eye-catching productions and keeps the conversation going on Instagram.
The post arrives during a particularly busy week for Arderi. Days earlier, she and her partner, the Cuban singer Oniel Bebeshito, documented a roughly 34-hour road trip to celebrate their third wedding anniversary, heading to the southeastern United States.
Just days before, on October 23, Arderi had announced her new project "Ready with Rachel", a wellness app focused on nutrition, training, and healthy habits, in which she spoke openly and candidly about a time when she did not feel good about her physique, a period that seems to be behind her now.
