How to check where you are supposed to vote

The address can be verified on the official Miami-Dade voter information page. By accessing the search tool and entering the required information, voters can check their registration status, polling place, and a sample ballot.

For those affected by these transfers, the system shows the updated location. It is advisable to check this information before leaving, rather than going directly to the school used in previous elections.

Tuesday schedule and early voting close

On Tuesday, November 3rd, polling places will open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Miami time. Those in line at 7:00 p.m. will be allowed to stay until they cast their vote.

The early voting ends this Sunday, November 1, at 7:00 p.m. During this final day, registered voters can vote at any of the 28 designated centers for this option, without being restricted to their assigned precinct for Tuesday.

What identification to bring and what happens if you arrive at the wrong place

To vote in person, a valid and current identification with a photograph and signature is required. Accepted options include the Florida driver's license and the U.S. passport. If the photo ID does not include a signature, it can be supplemented with another accepted document that does contain a signature, according to the official instructions for voting on election day.

Anyone arriving without the required identification can request a provisional ballot. The guide on the necessary documents to vote in Florida details the accepted identifications and the procedure in these cases.

If you go to a precinct that does not correspond to you, ask the electoral staff to direct you to the correct one and proceed there. The provisional ballot does not allow you to choose any precinct: in order to count it, authorities must verify that you were eligible to vote at the location where it was issued, according to the official procedure of Miami-Dade.

For inquiries about your assigned location, the Elections Office can be reached at 305-499-8683.
