The southern part of Florida will host three free job fairs during November as part of the Paychecks for Patriots 2026 program, starting with the first event in West Palm Beach this Wednesday, November 4, followed by Miami-Dade on the 10th and Broward on the 17th.
Palm Beach: more than 80 employers this Wednesday
CareerSource Palm Beach County organizes the opening of the cycle at the Hilton Majestic Ballroom in West Palm Beach, located at 150 Australian Avenue, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The organizer announces the participation of more than 80 employers from various industries, including Coca-Cola, the United States Postal Service, the FBI, Fifth Third Bank, the Palm Beach Sheriff's Office, and Sherwin-Williams.
The event is dedicated to veterans and military spouses, although it is open to any job seeker. It is recommended to bring a resume and register in advance on the official page to expedite entry on the day of the event, although registration is not mandatory.
It is important to note that the West Career Center in Belle Glade will be closed that day due to the fair celebration.
Miami-Dade: on November 10 at Miami Dade College
The second fair will be held on Tuesday, November 10, at Miami Dade College North Campus, Building J, Room J130, at 11380 NW 27th Avenue, Miami, FL 33167.
The time slot from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. will be reserved exclusively for veterans; the general public will be allowed to enter from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
The official CareerSource South Florida page includes a registration link that should be checked directly to confirm availability and any potential updates. There is no verified number of employers for this location.
Broward: on November 17 in Tamarac, with free transportation
The third fair will take place on Tuesday, November 17, at the Tamarac Community Center, 8601 W Commercial Boulevard, Tamarac, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The first hour —from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m.— is exclusively for veterans; the general public can attend starting at 10:00 a.m. Admission is free.
The sectors represented include construction, local government, health, financial services, telecommunications, higher education, and security, with companies such as Broward Health, Florida International University, the Florida Department of Corrections, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
For those needing transportation, there will be parking and free shuttles from the lot next to Tamarac Village Apartments, located at 9141 W. Commercial Blvd. The registration for the Broward fair is available on the official CareerSource Broward page.
About the program
Paychecks for Patriots is an annual initiative coordinated by the CareerSource Florida network that connects veterans, transitioning service members, and their families with local employers throughout the state during October and November.
In its 2026 edition, the program incorporates Hope Florida to provide additional support in housing, healthcare, and transportation to participants and their families.
These three fairs are distinct from other hiring events held in the region on nearby dates, such as the events on November 4 and 5 in Perrine and Miami Downtown Library, which correspond to separate events not associated with Paychecks for Patriots.
