Mango is a fruit with strong antioxidant properties, as it contains vitamins C, E, and provitamin A. It is native to northwest India, where it has been declared the National Fruit and has been cultivated for over 4,000 years. There are more than 40 species of mango and thousands of varieties that have spread across all warm regions of the planet. In Cuba, we are very fond of this fruit and have incorporated it into our recipes, especially in desserts, due to the delicious sweetness of our mangos. Here we present a simple Mango Shake recipe. Ingredients:
- 1 large mango
- 500 ml of whole milk
- 100 ml of condensed milk
- 1 pinch of salt
- ice
Instructions:
Wash and peel the mango. Cut the dough and place it in the mixer.
Add the whole milk, the condensed milk, and a pinch of salt. Finally, add the ice cubes to your liking and blend until you achieve a very cold shake with frappé ice.
Serve it immediately and enjoy this delicious drink in the company of family or friends.
