Preparation Time:

Note:
Wheat has been cultivated for about 10,000 years. It is believed to have originated in ancient Mesopotamia, specifically in Syria, Jordan, Turkey, and Iraq. This cereal has the highest gluten content, which is why it ferments well and is ideal for making bread and pasta. It is sold in various forms: as flour, wheat bran, bulgur, couscous, and puffed wheat. For thousands of years, it has been the staple food for many cultures. Its cultivation reached America during the Spanish colonization. In Cuba, the wheat consumed is imported. Specifically, Cubans use puffed wheat in various preparations, but the favorite is for a smoothie made with milk and ice.
Ingredients:
  • 60 grams of puffed wheat
  • 750 ml of whole milk
  • 100 ml of condensed milk
  • 12 ice cubes
Instructions:

In the blender, combine the wheat, sweetened condensed milk, whole milk, and ice.
