Note:
Wheat has been cultivated for about 10,000 years. It is believed to have originated in Ancient Mesopotamia, specifically in Syria, Jordan, Turkey, and Iraq. This cereal has the highest gluten content, which makes it ferment very well and ideal for making breads and pastas. It is sold in various forms: as flour, wheat bran, bulgur, couscous, and puffed wheat.
For thousands of years, it has been the staple food for many peoples. Its cultivation arrived in America with the Spanish colonization. In Cuba, the wheat that is consumed is imported. Specifically, Cubans use puffed wheat in various preparations, but the preferred one is for a smoothie, with milk and ice.
Ingredients:
- 60 grams of puffed wheat
- 750 ml of whole milk
- 100 ml of condensed milk
- 12 ice cubes
Instructions:
