Tomato juice

Note:
Tomato juice is consumed relatively frequently in Cuba. It has its fans, and they often add a few drops of homemade hot sauce. Here’s our recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 2 ripe red tomatoes
  • 1 pinch of sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 drops of hot sauce
  • 300 ml of cold water
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
Instructions:

Wash the tomatoes. Cut them into small pieces. Place them along with the other ingredients in the blender. Blend and serve. You can strain it or not, depending on your preference.

Tomato juice with a sprig of celery

Garnish it with a sprig of fresh parsley or celery, which adds a special aroma.
