Note:
The frutabomba, also known as papaya or lechosa, is a tropical fruit native to the forests of Mexico, Central America, and the northern region of South America. It is rich in sugars, fiber, minerals, and vitamins A, B, and C. Cubans eat it in many ways, but one of our most common and refreshing recipes is the frutabomba smoothie with milk. It is delicious and easy to make. If you prepare it at home, be sure to share a photo on our social media.
Ingredients:
- ½ frutabomba or papaya
- 500 ml of whole milk
- 100 ml of condensed milk
- 12 ice cubes
Instructions:
Wash and peel the Papaya, remove the seeds. Cut it into cubes and place them in the blender jar.
Add the condensed milk, whole milk, and ice.
Blend until you achieve a thick and cold shake. If necessary, add more milk to your liking.
Enjoy it with your favorite snack, or better yet, have it on its own, as this smoothie doesn't need anything else.
Enjoy your meal!!
