A spectacular accident occurred this Saturday in Havana after a bus lost its brakes and crashed into a house.
The incident occurred in the Monterrey area, San Miguel del Padrón road, and there were no victims, confirmed Internet user Dyango Ramos Tur in the Facebook group "BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!".
"The brakes went out, only material damage," he clarified.
The images show the urban transport bus, apparently from route A3, colliding with a modern car that would have been dragged by it before crashing into the house.
Dozens of Internet users regretted that the bus was the only one left available on that route.
"Well I want to say now that the A3 was left without a car, it was the only one on that line and another one for the tonga," commented one.
Although others questioned the driver's expertise, some agreed that the poor condition of Cuban buses and roads are the fundamental cause of these accidents.
"As long as Calzada San Miguel continues to be destroyed, there will be no brakes, suspension, or buses that will last. The blame is on the abandonment that the authorities have with that road. Most of the buses in Diezmero have steering problems for that reason. It seems that there has to be a death to provide a definitive solution for that avenue," said one member of the group.
