The Cuban Foreign Ministry reported this Sunday that a total of 5 Cuban families remain in Palestinian territory, 4 of them in the West Bank and one in Gaza.

“The Cuban Embassy in Egypt maintains permanent communication with Cuban citizens residing in Palestine. "So far, 5 families remain in their areas of residence, 1 in Gaza and 4 in the West Bank," said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MINREX) on its networks.

“Coordination will be maintained to provide due consular attention to fellow nationals. The Cuban Foreign Ministry remains constantly attentive to its compatriots in the place,” the information adds.

Foreign Minister Bruno RodríguezHe stated shortly after thatTo date, 1 Cuban woman and her family remain in their residence in Gaza, while another 4 Cuban women are in the West Bank.

Precisely this Sunday, the Cuban ruler Miguel Díaz-Canel accused the Israeli government of beingthe only one responsible for the war conflictwhich is currently at a fever pitch in the Gaza Strip.

“We reiterate deep concern about the escalation of violence between Israel and Palestine, a consequence of decades of Israeli practices of illegal occupation and colonization, in flagrant violation of the inalienable rights of the Palestinian people,” Díaz-Canel said on Twitter.

In its statements the Cuban government does not referto the attack that Hamas carried out against Israel that it was a real massacre of civilians, nor how the terrorist group refuses to let Palestinian civilians leave the conflict zone, using them as a shield against the Israeli army.

After days of bombings and having given an ultimatum to the more than one million Palestinians who live in the north of the Gaza Strip to move to the south, this Sunday the Israeli army continues to deploy troops on the border with Gaza . The attack by “land, sea and air” announced by Prime Minister Netanyahu seems imminent.

So far, it is estimated that more than 2,670 people have been killed by the bombings on Gaza and at least 9,600 have been injured. On the Israeli side, 1,400 died from Hamas attacks, according to data collectedThe country.
