A man shot his ex-partner in the head in a new femicide attempt in Holguín, official sources reported.
The victim, Eliannis Obregón, is admitted after Iván Quevedo Pérez, his ex-partner, shot him in the head, then shot himself in the foot and finally fled in the Lenin neighborhood, in Holguín,reported the Cazador Cazado Facebook profile, linked to the Ministerio del Interior (MININT).
In less than 8 hours, the aggressor was captured by the police with the help of neighbors, this profile states.
The weapon used was seized by the police and belongs to a “legal possessor,” without it being known yet how it came into the hands of Quevedo.
No other details have been released about the incident or the victim's state of health.
