Up to $250 for an appointment at the Spanish Consulate in Havana

Complaints about the service are due to delays in procedures, long lines and the sale of consular appointments at very high prices.

Complaint for poor services at the Spanish Consulate in Havana

I am heading to CyberCuba asking that they disseminate the situation that exists with the dating sales of marriage transcription in the Consulate of Spain in Havana.

Since they can no longer sell appointments for the Democratic Memory Law (LMD) through which thousands of adult children and grandchildren of Spaniards are obtaining nationality, they are selling marriage dates at high prices.

It is abusive, I have not slept for more than two weeks after the appointment and, like me, there are many other people who cannot pay 100, 150 or even 250 dollars for an appointment.

This situation has arisen because there are many credentials on the street and they only make 25 appointments from Saturday to Wednesday. The few that there are are monopolized by managers who have created a business network with dating of the consulate.

The descendants have been promised many things and none have been fulfilled. They promised another room to receive documents, the famous Room F, which I don't know where it ended up.

They promised to streamline the processes and they cannot be further behind. The volumes and folios are coming out five months after the documents were delivered.

In cases with requirements, they notify you three months after having submitted the appointment, and with little time to deliver, knowing that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba It takes a long time to put a sticker on.

The website to check the status of the case has been out of date for many months, I think that worked for the first few days. Without being very intelligent, we realize that the processes for the term of this law to expire are being lengthened.

PDFs have been rejected for people who had it right. Dates have been skipped and now to make matters worse they are putting an Exequátur requirement on people who were divorced before becoming Spanish. This is all an evil movie against the descendants.

I want to emphasize the sale of appointments. He Consulate of Spain in Havana You have to do the same thing you did with the LMD appointments, get that amount of credentials that are on the street and not send more until everything stabilizes. Don't give managers the opportunity to abuse those in need.

I don't want my identity to come to light because I'm a sick woman and this dating thing is driving us crazy. My husband with a phone, I with another cell phone and we can't even pick it up, because when the alarm comes, when you manage to access the website, the appointments are over. The managers took them all for business.

What do you think?
