The Cuban girl Amanda Lemur Ortiz He continues his recovery after the third operation performed in a hospital in Madrid.

According to activist Yamilka Lafita (Lara Crofs), the parameters of the minor have been normalized. Hemoglobin rose to 12 after several blood and platelet transfusions, her bile dropped to four, she is urinating and defecating well, she is less swollen and this Wednesday they will remove another of the tubes.

"They will also increase the dose of milk. The baby is awake and fighting, everything seems to indicate that the recovery will return to its normal course, it will be longer than expected, but the long-term results will also be better," he said.

For its part, Emmanuel Lemus, the little girl's father and the one who donated his liver, the stitches have already been removed and he continues to advance in his post-operative process.

According to Lara's information shared on Facebook, doctors regularly go to the ICU room to do tests and make sure everything is going as it should.

"The care at the La Paz hospital has been excellent, the empathy with which they have accompanied the case is very comforting for these parents, who feel how their daughter's case moves and sympathizes with everyone," he said.

"So much to thank you for," he concluded.

Last Monday Amanda underwent surgery for the third time to remove clots that originated after the previous intervention.

While the girl fights for her life, her parents seek support from the Cuban community abroad to cope with the long months of hospitalization that await them. The hospital covers the girl's expenses, but not her parents' stay in Spain, with no resources to support themselves during the recovery stage required by hospital admission.

Currently, the fundraising campaign is active on the platform GoFundMe, where $26,333 has been raised, out of a goal of $30,000.
