Three dead when a car crashes into a tree in Matanzas

The victims were traveling under the influence of alcohol in a Chinese Aeolus car.

At least three people died this Thursday as a result of an accident in Matanzas that involved a Chinese car purchased this year by the regime and a tree.

The incident occurred in the morning hours in the Ciénaga de Zapata Municipality, Cayo Ramona town, when apparently the driver of the car lost control and crashed into the tree, according to a publication by Internet user "Mari Matanzas" in the groupFacebook "BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!".

The entire front part of the vehicle was destroyed, and three young people from the area, around 26 years old, died, the comments in the post detail.

It's not necessaryIf all the deceased were traveling in the damaged vehicle. However, residents confirmed that the driver was drunk.

In the images you can see a person lying on the ground and covered with a blanket. “Cayo Ramona is in mourning,” stated Internet users.

Other forum members assured that the brand's carsDongfeng Aeolus YIXUAN, acquired by the regime last Februaryto rent to tourists, they have come out bad: they look like a beer can and have no stability, they said.

Likewise, others assured that high speeds are not recommended in these vehicles, and even less so in sandy and humid terrain like the Ciénaga de Zapata. There, to make matters worse, the roads are in terrible condition, they said.

The members of the group called on drivers to drive with caution during these end-of-year holidays.

This week another accident left several Cuban families in mourning when a CUPET van carrying passengers lost control, crashed into an almond tree loaded with people and then some victims werecrushed by a Yutong bus.

The incident also occurred in Matanzas, near Limonar, and resulted in 20 injuries and six deaths. A minor under 10 years old continues to be reported in serious condition.
