Patria y Vida poster revealed in Havana: "Clear as water"

The creator Yulier Rodríguez published a video showing a poorly covered poster on a street in Havana and challenged his followers: “Detective, find the message!”

The Cuban artist Yulier Rodríguez published a video where you can identify a poster “Homeland and Life”, in view of passersby in Havana.

“Detective, find the message!” Rodríguez jokingly wrote on Facebook while his voice was heard saying: “Look how good this is! It looks clear as water.”

A young girl responds: “Ah, now,” upon discovering the phrase “Homeland and Life” under light-colored paint, in a futile attempt to cover the claim.

As creator, RodríguezHe has suffered harassment from the police for denouncing the crisis that the nation is experiencing in his work..

This independent visual artist has stood out for creating large graffiti in various locations in Havana.

In different parts of Cuba, people have printed posters on the walls of public spaces as a sign of protest and popular discontent.

On Monday, March 18,a day after the protests held in different parts of Cuba, a sign against the ruler Díaz-Canel appeared in the city of Matanzas.

The event took place during the early hours of that same day, just hours after confirming a massive protest in the Matanzas town of Cárdenas, in which local residents took to the streets to protest with banging pots and pans.

“Díaz-Canel singao” painted by Cuban civil society activists on the wall of the popular Playa del Tenis. Apparently, other slogans were erased or repainted by the police and other repressors of the Cuban regime.

The Castro regime, in the same place, held an “act of reaffirmation” on Tuesday, March 19.

The official radio station echoed the act of reaffirmation of Matanzas and assured that the followers of the regime present at the site represented “all Cubans” and showed “their fervent support for the Revolution and Socialism.”

While the country was experiencing hours of protests and the repressors silenced the voices of the people with violent and arbitrary arrests.
