The Cuban authorities have announced the reopening of the ice cream factory located in Mayarí, in the province of Holguín.
After eight months of being detained due to breakdowns in areas related to the power transformers, the ice cream factory has entered the testing phase and so far everything is going well.
According to the information from the local newspaper Ahora, it is expected that the first sales will take place at Cremería El Río next Saturday, June 1, when Children's Day is celebrated.
When production is restored, deliveries to maternal and elderly households, childcare centers, and other social care facilities will be prioritized.
