A similar alert was issued following the disappearance of citizen Diosbel Cantillo Martínez, who is missing after a trip to Guantánamo.

Also, a Cuban teenager is missing after leaving for school in the Havana municipality of La Lisa, and there has been no news of her since.

The young woman has been identified on social media only by her name, Evelyn, and her family is asking for urgent help to locate her.

The case of Cuban Juana María Curbelo Santana, 64 years old, who has been missing since last Saturday, when she was last seen in the Mantilla neighborhood in Havana, is also causing great concern for her family.

Many Cuban families are turning to social media to request help in finding missing persons. In recent times, these pleas have become very common, amid a context of social insecurity due to the increase in crime in the country.
