The young Cuban mother Gretell Montalván Ramos asked for help to repatriate the remains of her husband Yordani Viamontes Tamayo, who died on June 18 in a tragic traffic accident in the United States.
On the social network Facebook, the woman from Camagüey explained the difficult situation she is facing after the death of her partner, being left alone with a one-year-old son, and now needing resources to stay afloat and send the deceased's body to Cuba, where her relatives are waiting.
"I am trying to set up a GoFundMe, but they have not reviewed it yet (...) I ask all my friends and family who can to lend a helping hand and I infinitely thank you in advance," said the resident in the city of Houston, Texas.
The funds will be used to send my husband's body and try to cover the expenses for my child and me in our home at this very difficult time, because everyone knows how challenging it is here when it's just one person," the young woman, who takes care of children in her home, added in her post.
Likewise, he stated: "My one-year-old child and I are grateful to all those who have supported us in one way or another during this very difficult time for us."
On the other hand, the user Nelly D' Cuba also posted about the story and revealed that they found Viamontes dead under his truck. Additionally, she called for support for Gretell.
