Three former sports commentators from the Tele Rebelde channel reunite in the United States.

Three former sports commentators who worked at the Tele Rebelde channel of Cuban Television reunited in the United States, the country where they emigrated to.

Yasel Porto, Reynier Batista, and Ángel Luis Fernández had a moment remembering their years when they coincided at the Cuban sports channel.

"Reunion of three good friends and colleagues from Cuba," wrote Porto on his Facebook page "DPorto Sports LLC."

While Batista described it as "the opportunity to speak among colleagues."

They both shared a photo of the three of them in a family environment, where all three are very happy sharing together.

Several people commented on the posts wishing good luck to the three in their current and future projects.

"A trio of excellent sports journalists and storytellers. Blessings to all three," said a user.

"The three are highly respected here by Cubans. Always good luck to those excellent professionals," another person said.

A user mentioned that Renier González was missing to create a "Sports Meridian at home," referring to a program on Cuban television.

Yasel Porto left Cuban Television when his contract was not renewed in 2020. Among the reasons for his dismissal were the dissatisfaction of the authorities with a comment on Bola Viva, as well as in other spaces and his opinions in other independent media and social networks.

Batista, on the other hand, had arrived in the northern country in 2023. His first publication in the United States was from Ioan Depot Park, during a game between the Miami Marlins and the Houston Astros.

While the latest to join was Ángel Luis Fernández, who arrived in early June as a beneficiary of the humanitarian parole program implemented by President Joe Biden's administration.
