A Cuban mother whose house was burned down in a fire in Havana needs help to rebuild her life, as she lost all her belongings and those of her 10-month-old baby.
According to what the Ministry Jesus is the King, a religious organization located in the San Francisco de Paula neighborhood in the municipality of San Miguel del Padrón, explained on Facebook, the fire was caused by a lightning strike.
"We call on all good-hearted people of the province of Havana. On Monday, July 21, this mother and her 10-month-old daughter lost their entire little house to a fire," the post states.
The photos show the regrettable state in which the house was left, without a roof or windows and with all the belongings burned.
"If you have anything at home to donate, you can write directly to the page or call 54488457 (Sayli). Just call, they don't have WhatsApp," the information specifies.
Last weekend, a Cuban family with three small children lost their humble home in a fire that occurred in the Altavista neighborhood, in Santiago de Cuba.
A Facebook post documented the pitiful state of the location where the little house used to be, where a young mother lived with her three children, a seven-year-old girl and two boys aged five and two.
"Any help would be enough for them. I am calling on society, here is the evidence that it is real," wrote a young woman on social media who asked for help for the family.
The incident was the result of an electrical problem. The neighbors could not help extinguish the fire for fear that someone would get electrocuted, and in addition, the firefighters arrived too late.
