Four men broke into a house at night in Cárdenas, Matanzas, and took everything they could.

The incident occurred recently in a house located on Salva Street, between Calzada and Coronel Verdugo.

The internet user Christian Arbolaez, a member of the "Cardenenses en Facebook" group, shared several photos of the incident. Although they are very low quality, they can be seen descending from the rooftop and walking down the middle of the street with complete calm.

According to Arbolaez, they took everything within their reach: balls, items that were on the terrace, and even the children's pigeons.

The whistleblower also warned that there are reports of thefts occurring outside banks, where criminals primarily approach elderly individuals, offering to "help them" withdraw money from their cards in order to steal from them.

"If anyone has information about these thefts or has seen anything suspicious, please do not hesitate to report it to the authorities," he/she requested.

Amid the increase in crimes in Cuba, and due to the inefficiency and negligence of the Police, some families have installed surveillance cameras in their homes as a way to identify and catch criminals.

Last June, the cameras placed in a house in Havana captured a man who one night entered and stole a washing machine that was in the yard, after covering it from the rain with a nylon sheet.

The thief entered through the neighboring house, cut through the fences of both houses, and took the equipment, said the owner, who shared the video and offered a reward to anyone who could tell her who the man was.

"What I least imagined was that I was being watched by cameras. I make this public so that people can be aware of this type of rats, that what happened to me can happen to you as well," he emphasized.

In February, a man was caught trying to steal from a polaquito parked on a street in Havana. The owner of the vehicle shared two photos of the individual on Facebook, who arrived at the scene in a Moskvitch.

"He tried to steal from me in the car by forcing the locks. Luckily, he couldn't open them, but he stole the gas tank cover," he pointed out.

On January 19, a man approached a tricycle parked in front of a house in the Diez de Octubre municipality, Havana, and removed several items from the trunk of the vehicle before calmly leaving with the loot.

The robbery was carried out in broad daylight, according to the footage from the surveillance camera installed outside the neighboring house.
