Diairys Lorente, a Cuban mother living in Miami, is desperate because she has been unemployed for four months and has not found anything else despite her multiple efforts.
Diairys lives alone with her young daughter in Tamiami, a place in Miami-Dade, and claims that she lost her job as a home health aide due to an injustice.
"I have knocked on all the doors, I don't even know how many pounds I have lost from worry and anxiety. They are going to take my car away. I have knocked on doors everywhere, I have cried to people for a job so I don't end up on the street with my daughter. There is no work," she affirmed through tears.
"My worst fear is having to go out on the street with my daughter. What is happening in Miami is terrifying. I no longer have any money to pay with, I don't know what I'm going to do," he added.
The woman stated that she believes in God and that she prays to Him every day.
"I try to hide it so my girl doesn't realize the reality I'm living, but it seems she's going to find out because I'm collapsing, I'm falling apart. I no longer know what to hold onto," she assured.
Thousands of people wrote to her, offering some advice and showing their support.
Among the suggestions he received was to write to the TikToker Dairon Cano, who has become very popular for helping compatriots facing complicated situations in Miami.
