Alexander Delgado, a member of the duo Gente de Zona, praised the work of young Cuban artist Oniel Bebeshito in a recent interview with Adrián Fernández.
In a snippet of the conversation shared on social media, Alexander expressed great enthusiasm for the success that the young performer has achieved and advised him to keep pursuing his career.
"Bebeshito is in his prime; he's extremely popular and doing an amazing job. Dreaming big costs nothing. If you're on a roll, have the talent, and people like you, keep moving forward. Never say never," the artist stated.
The interpreter of "La Gozadera" also offered words of encouragement to other emerging artists from the island who, in his view, are taking Cuban urban music to new heights. "Congratulations to all the kids from the new school who are doing well," he stated, concluding with a reflection on the importance of seizing the moment: "There are two things that don't wait in life: one is time and the other is opportunity."
The interview, in which Alexander acknowledges Bebeshito's talent and effort, reflects the support of established figures in Cuban music for the new generations, inspiring young people to continue their dedication and passion for music.
In response to the Monarch's words, some supporters of his group commented: "Authorized voice," "Now this is a man," "This is how a leader speaks."
