A video has emerged showing the moment when Damian Valdez shot El Taiger in Hialeah

The footage captured by a surveillance camera was crucial as evidence against Damian Valdez-Galloso.

A video exclusively released on Thursday by NBC6 shows the exact moment when, on October 3rd, Damian Valdez-Galloso shot Cuban reggaeton artist El Taiger (José Manuel Carbajal) in the head.

The images, obtained from a surveillance camera, show that at 4:26 a.m., El Taiger arrived at the gated entrance of Valdez-Galloso's house.

Shortly after standing in front of the entrance to the house, a shot fired from inside caused the reggaeton artist to fall to the ground instantly.

Contrary to what was rumored at one point, there is no evidence that the shot was preceded by any aggressive behavior from El Taiger, nor that he was kicking the door or anything like that.

In another segment of the video—specifically at 4:37 a.m.—Damian is seen dragging the lifeless body of the singer by the ankles.

Following this, he proceeds to try to remove the bloodstains from the entrance of the house.

In the images shared by the media, it does not appear that Damian received any help, although in recent statements to journalist Daniel Benítez, Police Chief Manuel Morales indicated that there was a woman at the scene, but she was not involved.

Damian pleads "not guilty."

This Thursday, during his second appearance before the Miami-Dade criminal court, Damián Valdez-Galloso pleaded "not guilty" to the homicide of the reggaeton artist, prompting widespread outrage among the singer's family and fans.

However, Teresa Padrón, manager and close friend of the deceased artist, expressed upon leaving the court that she was "happy" because Damian's attitude strengthens the effort and desire for justice to be served.

"Believe it or not, I am happy about this because now those supporting the cause for justice will apply significant pressure. It is being declared that he is not guilty, and now we are going to trial," he stated in remarks to the press.

The session took place after the original hearing date was moved up, as Teresa explained recently.

The manager also noted that during the legal process, they will present the prosecutor's office with a petition signed by over 49,000 people demanding that the charges against Valdez-Galloso be escalated from second-degree murder to first-degree murder.

Although Teresa Padrón has consistently insisted on the existence of a second person involved in the crime, who would have collaborated with the accused, the police have denied this at all times.

The Miami police claim to have enough evidence for a guilty verdict.
