The family of the elderly Heriberto Llánez continues to search for him tirelessly after he has been missing from his home in Morón, Ciego de Ávila for 12 days.
His daughter, Yamilka Llánez Villanueva, continues to appeal to citizens for help in finding him, especially after the police informed her that they lack the resources for the search.
"I need someone to take a photo if they see him and try to hold onto him to make sure it's him. We have searched for him in various places, but it hasn't been him. The police told me they didn't have resources. Please keep sharing so we can find him," she requested on her Facebook wall.
Llánez, who is also known by the nickname Iñe, left his home on November 11, and since then nobody has seen him again.
"Please don't stop helping me by sharing; you are my only hope," his daughter pleaded.
The woman clarified that her father does not suffer from any mental illness. If anyone has any information, they should call 53156657.
"Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your help, and please share across the country," he expressed in another post.
Upon leaving his house, the elderly man took neither documents nor phone with him.
On the 17th, someone told the daughter that he had gone to the municipality of Bolivia, where a barber confirmed having seen him, and a woman said he asked for a spoon to eat. Those people reported that he was looking a bit dirty by then.
Several family members attended, but they did not find him.
In a previous post, Yamilka mentioned that she was willing to offer a reward for her father's return and emphasized that the entire family has been tirelessly searching for him.
"I don't have any photos of what he was wearing. I'm told he was in a light blue shirt, pants that were gray or caramel, a black cap, and a white bag," he clarified.
"I am infinitely grateful to family, friends, and strangers for all the support," he/she expressed in another post.
