Note:
Guacamole is a traditional recipe from Mexican cuisine. It is one of the most consumed appetizers in Mexico, but just like everywhere else in the world, each chef has their own unique approach. The most important thing is that it is homemade, authentic, and full of flavor.
At first glance, the recipe seems simple to make, but according to experts, few people manage to achieve the perfect taste in guacamole. Here, we offer a straightforward option, featuring fresh and nutritious ingredients, allowing you to make the most of ripe avocados, say goodbye to store-bought guacamole, and impress your friends at parties as a connoisseur of Mexican cuisine.
Ingredients:
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 medium salad tomato
- 1 jalapeño, finely chopped (you can substitute with chili pepper)
- ½ onion, finely diced
- ½ lemon
- finely chopped fresh cilantro, to taste
- salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Cut the avocado in half. Remove the seed and scoop out the flesh with a spoon. Mash the avocado flesh to your desired consistency.
Chop the tomato, onion, jalapeño, and cilantro into small pieces. Add them to the avocado purée and mix in a splash of lime juice, salt, and pepper to taste.
