Ingredients:
- 1 cup of oysters
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of pepper
- 1 cup of tomato juice
- 1 lemon
Instructions:
In some markets outside of Cuba, you can find oysters already opened. But if you are making this recipe on the Island, you should start by carefully opening the oysters with the help of a knife.
Collect the pulp and juice in a glass or cup. Add the tomato juice, the squeezed lemon, and freshly ground pepper. Place a pinch of salt and serve in small glasses.
This cocktail is often accompanied by drinks like a cold beer or a shot of Cuban rum.
