The Cuban artist Luis Manuel Alcántara is currently detained at the Aguilera station in Lawton, as revealed by his partner Yanelys Nuñez Leyva.

"The whereabouts of Luis Manuel are now known. He is at the Aguilera station in Lawton. The friend he was with last night when a patrol stopped them was released this morning and told me a little about the location of both," his girlfriend assured through social media.

"I just spoke with the duty officer at the station, and he told me that Luis is there for operational reasons. He doesn’t have a specific charge or an estimated release date," Leyva added.

Otero Alcántara disappeared yesterday, the 14th, without a trace around 10:30 PM while resting with his friend José Ernesto Alonso.

His disappearance occurred when the pilgrimage to the Rincón de San Lázaro was beginning. At that moment, he was apparently detained by State Security.
