The quarter-finals of Russia 2018 are just around the corner - the start is as close as tomorrow - and although certainly at this point the clashes tend to equate high-ranking squads, it is clear that there are definite favorites for each of them. the crashes.

Because come on, Croatia should pass Russia despite the delirious support of the local fans, supported simply and simply by the resource that Spain did not know or did not dare to use: offensive football. For this, the midfield of the former Yugoslavs will be more than enough.

For their part, England will have a complicated clash with a very tough Sweden that, however, I suspect will fall one way or another at the feet of the attacking variants of Gareth Southgate's men.

As for the commitment between Brazilians and Belgians, even though Hazard and his team have left good feelings in the championship, it is very rare for someone to bet a penny against the five-time world champions. With Neymar on the rise and William resurrected, it seems to me that the Red Devils are forced to go all out and even pray for the help of luck.

In the last duel, I firmly believe, is where the majority's prediction could more easily crumble, since the betting houses unanimously give the advantage to the French over the Uruguayans. However, given what has been seen, it is my opinion that the Uruguayan team is fully capable of spoiling the party for Didier Deschamps's blues.

So, my votes go for Croatia, England, Brazil and Uruguay.
