The Pinar del Río catcher hit a home run down the left wing in the 8th inning and the Cañeros de los Mochis came back in the Mexican Pacific League (LMP). Quintana, 30 years old, belongs to the Houston Astros and who knows if the surreal jump to the Major Leagues will happen in 2020.

For the moment, his performance in Winter Leagues continues to be more than solid. Last night's home run was his 4th in the contest and he is also hitting .311, leading all catchers in the League with 20 RBIs.

His teammate Josuan Hernández was not far behind and hit the 3rd homer of this winter.

Yadiel Hernández, a Matanzas expert in contact towards the opposite field, hit his 4th HR of the year with the Naranjeros de Hermosillo, added two RBIs and is now 5th in LMP. Henry Urrutia from Las Tuscany gave three hits and maintains the offensive rhythm.

In the Dominican Republic, right-hander Jorge Martínez fell in his start, despite this he continues with an excellent ERA of 2.48.

In Puerto Rico, Darién Núñez struck out four in two innings and Armando Rivero remained scoreless.
