Talented Cuban hitter Daniel Pérez is in the Dominican Republic looking for a professional signature

Cuban left-handed hitter Daniel Pérez is in the Dominican Republic in what will be his first attempt to sign with a Major League organization, a source informedCyberCuba.

The Cuban prospect will be represented by Carlos Paulino of Optimum Baseball and who is the agent of Cuban players such as Michel Triana, Narbe Cruz, among many others.

Pérez, 18 years old and a native of Havana, has Spanish citizenship and has alternated between the Iberian country and Cuba in recent years, also being part of the Industriales preselection last March after a positive foray into the Provincial Series in the capital .

He represented Spain in the last U-18 World Cup held between August 30 and September 8, 2019 in South Korea, where the Spaniards with four other Cubans (Liván Delgado, Yan Cepero and Frank and Omar Hernández) achieved a historic 8th place.

Pérez was born in San Miguel del Padrón and has an impressive physique, standing 1.85 tall and weighing 195 pounds. Heswing de Pérez is quite compact and has shown contact and power for different parts of the field as well as against different pitches. He has been preparing for years and has moved up the ladder of performance and championships in the lower categories.
