They celebrate the birthday of Luis Manuel Otero in front of the Cuban Embassy in Madrid

A group of human rights activists gathered this Friday in front of the Cuban Embassy in Madrid to celebrate the35th birthday of political prisoner Luis Manuel Otero Alcántara, leader of the San Isidro Movement (MSI).

Erika Guevara Rosas, director for the Americas of Amnesty International, recalled that this December 2 is the birthday of Otero, whom she defined as a defender of human rights and prisoner of conscience in Cuba.
