Ugás, who suffered serious injuries to his eye during thefight against the American Errol Spence, last April, thanked his doctor and the medical staff of theBascom Palmer Eye Institute, and assured that he is not training yet.

"My team has no problem with me. I am calm and grateful and the night I return to boxing, with God's favor I will do so as one of the best welterweights in the world. Those who hate me, who surely many wanted me to stay one-eyed, I'm sorry, they're screwed," he concluded.

Last September, the boxer announced that heI had begun to dream about the path of returning to boxing, since his injured eye showed notable improvement and the doctors authorized him to train full-time, without restrictions.

"It has been a difficult process, looking at double things, with pain, but I was never angry, nor in a bad temper, because I am a warrior and this was a wound that I have carried with pride (sometimes you have to be willing to die for what that you love)," he said then.
