Johana Tablada: "The U.S. seeks to destroy the revolution against the will of the majority."

According to the Cuban diplomat, no change in foreign policy is evident in the current administration. "Biden is applying a medieval and deceptive policy towards Cuba," she stated.

The Deputy Director General of the United States Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Johana Tablada, stated that the United States "seeks to destroy the revolution against the will of the majority."

In an interview for the program Sepa Más on the channel Russia Today (RT), the official explained that the goal of U.S. foreign policy remains to dismantle “the revolution,” disregarding an alleged majority will in Cuba.

Quantified, manipulated, and suppressed by the totalitarian regime, the "majority" wielding power in Cuba consists of indoctrinated ignorance, the sin of propagandist salaried workers, and the crime of high-ranking officials who, through their narrative, shape the reality of the dictatorship.

Marked by the violation of human rights, the nullification of the individual, the imposition of an ideology, and the fear of freedom, the "revolution" that Tablada speaks of is the cornerstone upon which a tyranny stands, one that carries a long list of crimes and abuses.

But the diplomat did not limit herself to invoking the sanctum sanctorum of the regime; after six decades under the coercion of totalitarianism, without democracy and without freedoms, she shamelessly claimed a "majority" of popular support, which not only lacks statistical credibility but also disrespects intelligence.

"No change in the Trump administration's policy has been recorded. President Biden continues to strictly enforce Trump's policy, which aimed to tighten the sanctions against Cuba, suffocate the Cuban economy, cause severe shortages in the country's income, public services, and the population, and promote a process of destabilization," concluded the official.

The removal of the flight limit, remittances, the reopening of the consulate in Havana, the issuance of 20,000 visas, and other decisions that alter the measures of the previous administration are not changes in U.S. foreign policy, but rather a step back in Trump's siege strategy and the fulfillment of Biden's campaign commitments.

But the objective of both is the same as it was 60 years ago: “the destruction of the revolution, a regime change, or however one wishes to label a process that seeks, through force and against the will of the majority, to impose a government that serves the interests of the United States.”

For this reason, the main instruments are maintained: unilateral coercive measures (“which create discomfort and threaten public services”), Cuba's inclusion on the list of state sponsors of terrorism, Title III of the Helms-Burton Act (something that distances the possibility of understanding between governments with claims in international courts), and the blockade, that old wildcard of the official discourse.

Moreover, the United States maintains incentives for Cuban emigration, targets the medical cooperation programs of the supportive Cuban government, and funds internal dissent and exile platforms. Conclusions: Biden is more of the same.

"Honestly, at this moment I don’t know what they want, whether they are going to change or not. What I do know is that the policy has not changed," Tablada acknowledged.

With such an analysis, the discourse and diplomacy of "continuity" are understood, committed to being more of the same, even though now its leaders embrace and kiss the Russian mafia, navigate through tax havens, shed crocodile tears in front of creditors, and simultaneously wave manuals and emblems of the socialist bloc.

“Biden is applying a medieval and deceptive policy towards Cuba... It is an asymmetric relationship... It is an abuse,” Tablada explained to RT. “Biden opportunistically bet on Trump’s policy and used the pandemic as an ally, but he has failed and will continue to fail in his main objective of undermining the Cuban revolution.”

Viewers of Sepa Más did not go to bed without the Cuban diplomat revealing another mystery: “Cuba is one of the few countries in the world where tourism revenue goes to public services for the population” (sic). This is how it appeared verbatim in the program's banner.

And another: "There has not been a single measure from Cuba against the United States, nor against companies, nor against individuals, nor against the American population." The nationalizations are explained by "the Cuban system's commitment to socialism," something that legitimizes that "majority" of Cubans mentioned by the official.

The manual of "creative resistance" is the worst crime against thought committed by castrismo 2.0. Even ChatGPT cannot process it.

However, the speech of the continuationist androids has flashes like this one, which seem to be the work of a Trojan, but reveal all the wisdom of the totalitarian regime encapsulated by its mandarins: “The 200,000 that the United States thought were going to come out to topple the government... have emigrated.”

Tablada acknowledged feeling optimistic "because you can't buy what isn't for sale, nor defeat what resists, creatively, as the president says." However, "we must prepare for the worst-case scenario: a Ron DeSantis presidency in 2024, or a Marco Rubio."

"That's an excellent question, because that truly leads to my answer," said the gracious diplomat to the subservient journalist. With such manners, what other message can come from the regime's foreign ministry than "with or without the blockade, Cuba will move forward"?
