The sudden death of a Cuban professor has shocked the community of Sancti Spíritus, especially the students who had him as a teacher.

Ramon Companioni, a history teacher, would have died due to a thrombosis after a patella operation on one of his knees, as revealed by his relatives on social networks, although there has been no official confirmation of the fact.

Hundreds of people, mainly former students of the teacher, mourned the news and found no consolation for such a loss.
