Jesus Sanchez, theinfluencer Spaniard who was visiting Cuba, tried the Cuban peanut nougat and the Don Pánfilo peanut nougat with chocolate that is produced on the island for his followers.
“Now that Christmas is approaching, we are going to try these nougats,”said the influencerthat went viral among Cubans for their reactions on Tik Tok when trying Cuban fruits and foods.
For this Spaniard, the Cuban peanut nougat reminds him of the soft nougat from his country in flavor.
“Let's see, let's see, it's good, but it's not nougat, it's just pure, hard chocolate, with the peanuts inside, which is actually quite good, but I'm missing the nougat itself,” he said after trying the of chocolate.
"I'll stick with the classic, with the traditional, but listen, out of 10 the Cuban nougats," he concluded.
Jesús Sánchez spent several weeks recounting his experience trying typical Cuban foods,or some like pizza, of European origin but very popular on the Island.
"The typical thing in Cuba is to take the pizza, fold it, look at how it drips... and they eat it like that, as if it were a sandwich. The pizza is like super fat, it's not like the pizzas I'm used to," he commented.
On another occasion,He showed his surprise when he met the mamoncillos, a tropical fruit unknown in his country that he loved.
During your stay on the island,I had already tried a peanut nougat. After taking a bite of what he called “peanut butter,” the young man was impressed by its flavor and texture, which melted in his mouth.
"This is wonderful. Oh, how delicious, very good. It's basically peanut, like peanut butter, but it has nothing to do with it. This is a paradise; “It reminds me a lot of Spanish nougat, a soft nougat,” he said.
