The Cuban Telecommunications Company (ETECSA) in the province of Granma awarded a group of workers with bananas, a pumpkin and three sweet potatoes, during a meeting of women belonging to that institution.

The photos that accompany the post reveal a group of company workers sharing in a room, where among various products, several bananas, three sweet potatoes, a pumpkin and a package of rice stand out.

“Signifying the positive energy they emanate,” adds the publication that also named Nidia and Carmencita, such as those honored by “the recognition of the collective.”

In the comments section, Internet users were surprised by the gift to the workers.

“Tremendous encouragement to this brave group of workers. Tremendous hand of fongo, congratulations, keep up the good work,” the user wrote ironically. Ana Hernandez Canelles.

Also Katya Fuentes Trevin He did not fail to mock and said: “Wow, they got a bargain. Tremendous encouragement. They deserve it”, while accompanying his comment with emojis of laughter and clown faces.

For its part, Marianela Roque, was more direct when considering it “tremendous lack of respect, yes.”

The Cuban government received similar criticism when it encouraged, last November, with a hand of donkey banana to the teachers of a school located in the Guantanamo municipality of Baracoa.

Several memes circulated on that occasion on social networks to satirize the so-called encouragement that a group of teachers belonging to the Wilber Galano basic secondary school in Baracoa received, after their good results in a methodological visit to the province on November 7 and 8.

The Cuban guy Yanciel Acosta Lores, in Facebook, regretted that the teachers seemed happy and were not able to see how much contempt they are treated by the regime, despite the shortage of teachers in the country.
