A Cuban mother asked the comedian and philanthropist for help on social networks Limay Blanco, to take photos of his daughter, who will soon turn 15 years old.
Mayelín, as the woman identifies herself, sent Blanco a message in which she details her desperation due to the proximity of her daughter's 15th birthday and the lack of resources to take photos.
Limay Blanco himself took to the networks to call for “some photographer who wants to do charity work,” while sharing the woman's phone number.
The post is accompanied by a screenshot, where you can see the message left by the mother to Blanco.
“Good morning, God continue to bless you,” begins his communication.
“My name is Mayelín de Marianao with a daughter who is about to turn 15 and not having the financial resources to do her photo shoot, please, for the love of God, I need your help,” said the woman who also highlighted her faith that the solution to his problem would come.
The publication has unleashed a variety of comments among those who claim that the problem is not of primary necessity, but see the 15th birthday celebrations as an important event in the lives of girls who reach that age and others who become critical of the situation. .
In the midst of the serious current crisis suffered by thousands of families in the country, many Cuban mothers turn to social networks to raise their problems and hope to find help that will allow them to fulfill some of their children's dreams, which on the island become complicated.
A similar case happened last July, when a group of Cuban mothers resorted to creativity to help in the 15 years of a teenager without resources, after learning about the vicissitudes of his family to celebrate this memorable date.
On that occasion, several comments on the publication shared in the Facebook group “Cuban Mothers for a Better World” contributed ideas for this memorable celebration of adolescent girls.
“Nail grooming is for me. If you can bring it, I'll fix it for free,” one mother proposed, while another gave her a long dress for the photos. “Look, I have this dress. I'm giving it to you so you can take the photos of your baby. It is unique because my aunt sent it to me when I was 15,” he commented. “I have some transparent heels that are used, I'll give them to you, just wear one,” another mother proposed.
But these requests are not limited to adolescents around 15 years old. Also, last July, a Cuban mother shared her story, which could be that of many like her, with the hope that solidarity would allow her to throw at least a small party for her five-year-old daughter.
"I have a baby who turns 5 on August 8 and she asked me for a birthday gift, but the reality that I share with you is that I don't even have money for a cake," she said.
"I am a simple assistant who lives off her salary, which is not even enough for a package of chicken, and it makes me sad to see her little face, because I can't. Please, if you could help me with some little nonsense to at least make her a pica cake," he asked.
