A bus stayedwithout fuel in Havana and the driver dropped off all the passengers without offering a solution to the transportation problem.
A video published by the influencer Paparazzi Cubano on Instagram shows how the P5 route was canceled, and the passengers were expelled from the bus, a few meters from leaving the bus stop.
"This is overPetroleum. We just left the whereabouts. They are not going to return the money to us. This is disrespectful. Nothing, we're out of fuel," says a user on the bus.
Thetransportation crisis It is hitting Cubans hard, due to the high prices of tickets and the fuel shortage in the country for more than three years.
In the neweconomic measures approved by the regime, had announced an increase in the price of public transportation services and fuel. The criticism from the population was so strong that last week the government reversed the measure.
The Ministry of Transport (MITRANS) announced on Thursday thatwill not change fuel prices and that the increase in state and private transportation rates is suspended.
The MITRANS authorities insisted that there cannot be increases in private transport since the prices agreed with "non-state forms of management" have been postponed until further notice.
Despite that, thetransportation problem in Cuba There will be no immediate solution. It is the headache of thousands of Cubans who must travel far from their homes to work, or enjoy a moment of leisure, something that is almost impossible on the island due to the high prices of all products and services.
