Bus falls into the ditch of a road in Holguín, leaving a minor injured

The bus, apparently, was the one used to transport workers at the San Andrés mine.

A local transport bus, known as "Diana", fell this Thursday down the side of a road in the province of Holguín, in an event that, as confirmed by Internet users, left a minor serious injury.

In a publication in theFacebook group “BUS & TRUCK ACCIDENTS for more experience and fewer victims!”, user Alejandro Aballe warned of the accident that occurred in the Aguas Claras neighborhood, in Holguín.

Although he did not give more details because he said he did not have more information about the causes of the accident, several users confirmed the existence of a minor serious injury.

They also contributed that the bus is known for its route to La Mina, a place where the deposit is located.Holguinera, which is part of the Aguas Claras metallogenic field, located approximately 10.5 kilometers north of the city of Holguín.

One user specified that “it is the so-called mine bus, of workers from the San Andrés mine, she escaped alone and without a driver from the top of the hill and that was where she ended up.”

However, at the time of writing this information there were no other details about the incident, nor had the authorities commented.

Recently, in a traffic accident that occurred the afternoon of last Tuesday, February 13 in Havana, in the area near Terminal 3 of the José Martí International Airport, no deaths were reported.

That same day, inan accident on the section of the Central Highway corresponding to the city of CamagüeyAt least four people were reported injured.

In posts on Facebook, Cuban users reported the crash of a modern car against a bridge, near the Aguacatal paladar, after the city's road checkpoint.

On Tuesday itself,two modern cars collided on the Havana boardwalk, in the vicinity of the United States Embassy in Havana, a hot spot for traffic accidents on that central avenue of the capital. There were no known serious injuries from the accident.
