“I don't have words to say how I feel. You were the love of my life and the most beautiful thing that happened to me in my life, you taught me so many things and so many beautiful moments that I spent with you. You are and will be the love of my life, my partner, my everything, I still don't understand what happened, I think that everything is not true and that this is not happening, this is a nightmare that I never thought I would go through. My strength, my child, my everything, so many goals and so many dreams we had. May God have you in heaven with all the light that you deserve,” said Osorio.

The accident in which Mora lost his life occurred two weeks afteranother Cuban died in a road incident in the same capital of Suriname. Emir Castro González, 43 years old, a native of Cárdenas, Matanzas, and father of two children, was driving a motorcycle when he collided with a truck and died.

Many Cuban immigrants have arrived in Suriname in recent years, as part of theunstoppable exodus in which hundreds of thousands of people have left Cuba, due to the deep economic crisis that the country is going through.

In two years, at least 533,000 Cubans arrived in the United States., a figure equivalent to 4.8% of the 11.1 million inhabitants of the island, as revealedAFP taking official data as a source.
