In an attempt to attract a qualified workforce in 2024, Spain has published theCatalog of Occupations that are Difficult to Cover for the first quarter of this year, in which it lists the categories in which companies could bring foreign workers to the Iberian Peninsula.
According toResolution of December 22, 2023 of the General Directorate of State Employment, which was published in the Official State Gazette (BOE), the Catalog is defined as a list made by the Public Employment Service.
It includes all those jobs and vacancies that are especially complicated to fill and through which the person who applies can obtain a residence and work permit in Spain.
