Thissick teenager, the regime has not only suspended milk. Being 14 years old, he cannot eat the bread they sell regulated by the supply booklet, because it is for minors under that age.

The island's authorities claim that they do not have the resources to import sufficient raw materials and the lack of flour has affected bread production for months.

The decision has been to worsen the quality of the product by using ingredients such as pumpkin puree to enlarge the masses andrestrict bread even more, to the point of stopping selling it in many areas or giving it on alternate days for certain population groups.

The regime has received harsh criticism from the population for thelack of milk which particularly affects children and sick people. The official media assured that the country's leadership "is looking for solutions", but apparently cannot find them.

The Minister of Internal Trade,Betsy Diaz Rodriguez, acknowledged that children from 6 months to two years old have not received milk since February 5. They ensure that they are distributing the available production and are looking for alternatives with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), so that they incorporate their inventories into the basic basket.
