A young man, who died in an accident in the city of Santiago de Cuba, was buried in the Santa Ifigenia cemetery and said goodbye with a caravan of motorcycles by family, friends and acquaintances, who mourned the tragic loss.
The young man, known as “Yipi”, died this Tuesday at 4:00 a.m., according to reports on social networks, although without describing the circumstances of the death.
“Yipi, we will always have you in our minds and hearts, and everyone who has a motorcycle will never forget you,” wrote the Facebook userJesus Daniel Catanares.
Several videos that also circulate on social networks show a tribute attended by hundreds of motorcyclists to say goodbye to their partner.
Journalist Yosmany Mayeta Labrada also confirmed the information, promising to provide details when he had more information about the unfortunate event.
Likewise, Internet user Norge Luque said he guaranteed that more than half of Santiago de Cuba would be in mourning.
“We will remember you as what you were, a screwer, a hesitator and a great friend and more than a friend, a great brother to many. Today we will pay you respect and many of us will accompany you until the moment when we have to say goodbye to you forever,” Luque confessed in words that conveyed great pain.
In 2022,An emotional caravan made up of dozens of motorcycles accompanied the mortal remains of the 21-year-old motorcyclist, Yunior Tabares Magdariaga, died after losing control of the vehicle and falling into a hole in the middle of a street in the capital of Santiago.
Another young biker, but in Mantilla, Havana, he was fired with a caravan of motors and mariachis, after losing his life when he crashed his motorcycle into an almendrón, specifically a Chevrolet brand car.
The accident that ended up costing the life of Oscar Leyva, as the victim was called, occurred on November 18 in the vicinity of the Mantilla polyclinic, in the Arroyo Naranjo municipality, Havana.
