Cuban teenager about to turn three missing: "No one knows about her"

Isis Rodríguez Ameneiro, mother of the missing teenager, does not give up in the effort to find her daughter, despite the harassment from Cuba's repressive bodies.

Isis Rodríguez Ameneiro, mother of the Cuban teenager Maydeleisis Rosales Rodríguez, who disappeared almost three years ago in Havana, regretted not having recent information about her daughter and denounced that she is harassed by the repressive organs of the Cuban regime.

“We have not had any news of my daughter, and at this point I cannot suspect anything good,” he said through a testimony published by the independent press outlet.CubaNet.

The main suspects are on the street and have not been questioned, the mother said. “I am very disappointed in the work that the PNR has done, which by the way passed the case for homicides without there being a body.”

Rodríguez told the independent media that she noticed that they began to follow and monitor her: “A certain Jorge Ledezma came here saying that he was the search and capture person at the national level, and another identifying himself as from State Security.”

The woman denounced the lack of respect and abuse of the repressive bodies of the Cuban government: “They even told me that my daughter was a prostitute. It was the smallest word with which they called my daughter Maydeleisis, and that I was making this political case.”

Rodríguez, like any other person who considers herself a mother, only seeks at all timesthat the authorities expedite the investigation of his missing daughter, and that the case receives the attention it considered it should have.

He told the independent media that he made a complaint to the prosecutor's office because the investigation of the case is not progressing: “Yenisey del Castillo, who is the prosecutor who summoned me to the prosecutor's office, never attended to me personally, she always assigned a secretary to attend to me and who told me that they do not give an answer of any kind, that the case passed to Zapata and C, that there they are going to verify what the PNR of Zanja did not do.

To date, according to Rodríguez, no one has come to his house, nor have they shown him progress of the investigation, nor have they told him not to publish.

It is not the first time that this ladysays she feels disappointed in the work of the PNR in Havana.

The teenager Maydeleisis Rosales Rodríguez, a resident of the municipality of Centro Habana, disappeared on May 30, 2021 in the Cuban capital.

Since then, her mother has done everything to find her little girl, including going to the Council of State, due to the ineffective work of the police.

On numerous occasions, has denounced the unprofessional treatment of uniformed officers, in addition to the paucity of the information they have been given.

Although out of necessity she has made her daughter's case viral, her only desire is to find her daughter.
